Starting my year in 2024, I watched a certain vlog of this amazing YouTuber named Riza (Life of Riza).
She was talking about this mindset that changed her life.
She said that when the pandemic started in 2020, she began living her life in a bubble. She stopped meeting new people, going to places, and experiencing new things.
However, one day during the lockdown, she read something from a book about the importance of taking risks in life and not being afraid of saying YES to opportunities and chances.
According to the book, yes, we can still say NO to some things but there are times when we should say YES to certain things because we will never know what life is like when we say YES to them.
Following the book's advice, she started going out again and saying yes to invitations, and she quickly realized that there was so much more in life than sitting at home and watching days pass by.
So, she came up with the idea that no matter if she doesn't want to do things because of anxiety, laziness, lack of money, or endless excuses that her brain makes up, she should say yes and figure it out later.
Thus, her question for everyone is: are you brave enough to know what life would be like if you said YES, or would you spend the rest of your life asking "What if?"
After a moment of reflection, I told myself that in 2024, whatever came my way, I would say YES to it and figure everything out later.

Some of the yeses here that don't have dates or descriptions never happened, because either I canceled them for important reasons or people backed out from them.
However, seeing my progress in saying yes to many chances made me proud of myself.
In 2022-2023, I spent my life in a small room working all day and night, saying no to whatever people asked me, wasting my youth away.
In the year 2024, I might never have done extraordinary things that changed the world, but I certainly changed my world by saying yes to ordinary things.
