Here she is, walking towards her desk, her heels clicking on the tiled floor of our small office building.
She is wearing her signature knee-length black skirt with a black coat on top of a white shirt. Her pixie-cut hair is perfectly styled while sporting her friendly demeanor.
Who would suspect that this prim and proper-looking middle-aged woman drives a motorcycle at 90 kmph on weekends all around Japan? Truly, looks can be deceiving.
Last week, I just discovered that she stopped working in her mid-20s, took a holiday year, and cruised all around South Australia for six months alone using the motorbike she rented during her stay there.
From breathtaking mountains to national parks, from white sand beaches to local wineries, she almost has seen it all.
With her name that actually means beauty and elegance in her own language I am not shocked she's everyone's favorite here.
I wasn't even surprised when I found out that her husband proposed to her when she was 30 years old not with an engagement ring but a brand new motorcycle.
An exceptional lady definitely deserves an equally exceptional marriage proposal story!
